Herbal medicine, or plant medicine, is a traditional medicine whereby the chemical constituents of herbs work to support the physical body against illnesses as well as strengthening you as a whole person. The herbal preparation can be taken as infusions (teas), decoctions (boiled teas), tinctures (extracted and preserved in alcohol), and dried powders.

The Main Herbal Clinic
Weekdays 10am until 6pm

All herbal consultations cost £75 which includes your herbal remedy for a month and the postage to send it to you (£5 is take off the fee if you can collect).

The first session needs to be 90 minutes long (at no extra charge). All other sessions are up to 60 minutes long.

Low-Cost Herbal Clinic

The low-cost clinic runs only once a month, from 10am until 6pm, on the last Thursday of each month. It is available to anyone who is struggling financially. The clinic uses a sliding scale system from £50 down to £20 for a one hour consultation, which includes your herbal remedy for one month and the postage to send it to you. You pay what you can within that scale. If you choose to pay more, or to pay the full cost in our Main Clinic, you are also "paying it forward" to those who cannot afford herbal treatment.

Your first session needs to be 90 minutes long (subsequent sessions are 60 mins), and it is hoped you can come once a month for at least 3 months to give the treatment a good go.

All appointments for the low-cost clinic must be booked through Kia Ora Lounge. Card payments are accepted, as well as cash, and you must pay for your consultation on the day. Only in-person consultations are accepted for the low-cost clinic.
