New to Tarot? Here's our tip: spend a month practising with ONLY the Major Arcana first. Get to know these cards before all others - the little booklet in this deck will give you all the info you need initially to get started. Then, spend a day or two on each number from all the suits - number 1 from swords, wands, cups and disks, then numbers 2, then numbers 3 - this way you can see the differences between each suit, but also the similarities of the number meanings.
Leave out the Court cards at first - just practise with numbers 1 to 10, then introduce the Court cards at the end.
After about 2 months of daily use in this way, you'll have the basics down. Then, proceed by reading more books on the subject of Tarot, or go with your innate wisdom if it's telling you to learn in a different way. How you read the cards will be unique to you - they are a tool, you are the magician. Enjoy them. They are a remarkable journey you take.
