Wooden Box with Pentacle
We have only three of these in stock - two with a pentacle, and one with an inverted pentacle (inverted if you are holding the box facing towards you when you open the lid upwards).
The pentagram symbolises the four elements (air, fire, water, earth) and Spirit, marked by the upwards facing point, which shows that Spirit (the Higher Mind) is master of, but also in balance with the elements. The circle around it (making it a pentacle), shows us how all elements are encompassed by the universe and must work in balance with the whole.
When inverted, the pentagram symbolises working with our shadow selves, working with ego, and attempted mastery of Spirit through doing so; sometimes also used when purposely allowing the elements to control the Spirit.
This is a natural wood product, with a brass pentacle inlay on the lid, measuring approx. 12.5 cm x 7.5 cm. It's the perfect size for a small deck of cards, for your most used crystals and stones, for small sage bundles, for mini-altar kits, your favourite jewellery, or your special incense stash.
The lids close really well on these boxes, too, and stay shut when being carried in your bag.
Photos taken in different light so you get a better sense of colour. In natural daylight, the second picture showing the inverted pentacle is probably the closest to the actual colour of the wood. As this is a natural product though, the wood does differ just a little between the two boxes.
