In Remembrance and Thanks: Malidoma Patrice Somé

I have just found out this amazing teacher passed away. I never met Malidoma, but his book, The Healing Wisdom of Africa, was a book that changed my life when I was 20 years old, and had me just knowing I had to seek out shamanism and reconnect with these abstract memories I held of times long past. Everything I secretly knew was real became real after I read this book. The kind of book that gave me goosebumps every 5 minutes. I have referenced it a lot recently. So, I really feel this passing. Teaching can be in words, so I do consider him a shamanic teacher of mine - I learnt and remembered so much through his words, and still do. Both of my shamanic teachers have passed away now.
